On June 1-3, 2010 Navigation Systems, Technologies and Services - the International Congress and Exhibition Project - will take place in Pavilions No. 4, 7 (Halls No. 1, 5, 6) of the Expocentre Fairgrounds. This Project is a major Russian event in the navigation industry. It embraces two events: the 4th International Satellite Navigation Forum and the Navitech-Expo’2010 International Exhibition.

The Show is arranged by Expocentre and the ‘Professional Conferences’ company with the support from Navigation-Information Systems, the Association of Designers, Manufacturers and Users of Equipment and Applications Based on Global Navigation Space Systems ‘GLONASS/GNSS-Forum’, the ‘ITS-Russia’  Nonprofit Partnership.

The Show exposition unites leading Russian and foreign developers and manufacturers of navigation equipment and software support including cartographic applications and demonstrates advantages of the navigation technologies and services use in different fields of business and economy.

The Project will present modern world achievements in the satellite navigation, and will highlight importance of the GLONASS Russian Global Navigation Satellite System development and capabilities.  

Specialists will familiarize themselves with personal navigation devices, cartography and navigation software support, navigation systems, intellectual transport systems (ITS), motor transport control and monitoring systems (hardware and software support), railway transport control and monitoring systems. Furthermore, transport control and monitoring systems (AVL-equipment), security and safety systems, logistical systems, LBS-services, geodetic equipment, OEM modules GPS/GLONASS, radio utility, navigation signal simulators, differential correction systems, inertial satellite systems as well as professional subject literature will be demonstrated at the exhibition.

50 companies from 5 countries such as Belarus, China, Czechia, Russia and the USA participate in the exhibition.   

The total exhibition space amounts to about 1000 sq. meters.

The 4th International Satellite Navigation Forum will become a key event of the year for specialists in the commercial use of satellite navigation technologies and first of all, for the GLONASS Russian Global Navigation Satellite System.

The main purpose of the Forum is to inform the Russian and foreign general public about the state and plans for development of the satellite navigation systems, the public policy relating to the commercial use of the GLONASS System in Russia and abroad, innovative technologies, the latest navigation equipment and services.  

The Forum programme is aimed at end users of the navigation products and services and covers all aspects of their practical application to conduct successful business and to increase its efficiency.
