Russian Week of High Technologies included in the plan of events of the Decade of Science and Technologies
Russian Week of High Technologies (RWHT), an international congress and exhibition project, has been included in the Future Design Initiative within the Decade of Science and Technologies.
The Future Design Initiative helps those wishing to contribute to the creation of visions of the future. The joint efforts of business, government and, above all, scientists and developers will make it possible to predict, plan and implement key areas of scientific and technological development. This makes it possible to create teams of scientists and developers in Russia today, new start-ups that will become world leaders in the future and help the country achieve technological sovereignty.
Russian Week of High Technologies is one of the largest platforms in Russia and the CIS countries, bringing together specialists in information and communication technologies, navigation and telematics. The main event of RWHT is the International Exhibition for Information and Communication Technologies Sviaz. This year's exhibition will be held for the 35th time at Expocentre Fairgrounds from April 11 to 14.
The exhibition is held with the support of the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Russian State Duma Committee on Science and Higher Education, Roskomnadzor – the Russian Federal Service for Supervision of Communications, the Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as the Centre of Competences for ICT Import Substitution, the Russian Software Association and the GLONASS Union.
The Sviaz exhibition has been held since 1975 and is the largest telecommunications and information technology event in Russia, the CIS and Eastern Europe. This year, after the lifting of coronavirus restrictions, the exhibition will feature a Chinese pavilion supported by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT). More than 60 leading developers and manufacturers will present their cutting-edge solutions. As part of the conference programme, experts, which will include representatives of the executive, legislative authorities and business, will discuss the implementation of advanced technologies, the development of import substitution, and measures to support entrepreneurs.
Russian Week of High Technologies also includes the Navitech salon of navigation systems, technologies and services, forums and conferences in the field of information technologies, telecommunications, navigation and telematics.
